The House of l000 Mirrors
Long ago in a small, far-away village, there was a place known as the House of l000 Mirrors. A happy little dog learned of this place and decided to visit it. When he arrived, he bounced happily up the stairs to the doorway of the house. He looked through the doorway with his ears lifted high and his tail wagging as fast as it could. To his great surprise, he found himself staring at l, 000 other happy little dogs with their tails wagging just as fast as his. He smiled a great smile, and was answered with l, 000 great smiles just as warm and friendly. As he left the House, he thought to himself, “This is a wonderful place. I will come back and visit it often.”
In this same village, another little dog, who was not quite as happy as the first one, also decided to visit the house. He slowly climbed the stairs and hung his head low as he looked into the door. When he saw the l, 000 unfriendly dogs staring back at him, he growled at them and was horrified to see l, 000 little dogs growling back at him. As he left, he thought to himself, “It is a horrible place, and I will never go back there again.”

在同一个小村子，有另一只小狗，他没有第一只小狗那样快乐，也决定去看看这间房子。他慢慢地爬上楼梯并且当他看进门里面的时候低低地垂着脑袋。当他看到一千只不友好的狗正在盯着他的时候，他向他们吼叫，结果他惊恐地看到一千只小狗也在向他吼叫。当他离开的时候，他自己想着，“这是一个恐怖的地方，我再也不会来了。”

快乐的小狗在镜子里看到了微笑的小狗，心情很好；沮丧的小狗在镜子里看到的是惊恐、不友好的小狗，吓坏了。镜子真实的反映出了我们的内心想法，所以，昂起头，开心地生活吧，这样，在镜子里，你就会看见快乐的、微笑着的自己。
